Mullayanagiri

Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnatake located in Chandradrona hill range. This hill is named after saint Mullappa swamy who meditated in a cave in this hill. This hill gives you spectatcular view of nature around. It is located approximately 24kms from the homestay.

Deviramma Temple

Located just 5 kms from the homestay in the foothills of the Devirammana betta. You can also view the temple from the homestay but the view is much better from the temple itself. Temple located amidst the large area of green fields with Bababudan giri hill range in the background, the best treat to your eyes.

Ayyanakere

Ayyanakere is located around 24kms from the homestay in the Sakharayapatnavillage. This is lake has a beautiful view to offer which attracts plenty of tourists every year. This is located in a secluded area and there are no shops nearby so suggest you to carry all the necessary items with you while visiting the place. Best time to visit the place is after rainy seasons when the lake is filled.

Kalhatti Falls

Kalhatti falls (Kalahasti falls) is located approximately 50 kms from the homestay. Main attraction of this place is the temple belived to be the place where sage agastya prayed for a long time. One has to cross the cascading river stream to reach this temple.

Belur

Belur was the early capital of the Hoysala Empire. The Chennakeshava temple is one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture. It was built by king Vishnuvardhana in commemoration of his victory over the Cholas at Talakad in 1117 CE. It is located approximately 44kms from the homestay.

Halebidu

Halebidu was the capital of Hoysalas Empire in 12th century. The Hoysaleshwara and Kedareshwara temples are best examples of their architechture.The city got the name "Halebidu" because it was ransacked two times during the invasion of Malik Kafur.
